Barriers to Success

I believe the that the biggest barrier to success for teenagers is cellphones. Cellphones are a great tool for communicating with others but they also can be very distracting. For instance when sitting in class you notice that many students have their phones out playing a game rather than listening to the teachers lesson. This creates more learning for students by themselves at home and ultimately less knowledge will be taken in by the students. Phones can also be a big distraction at home when studying for a big test. Sometimes it's too hard to get out your books because you are to distracted texting your friends or you get a text while studying that draws you away from studying. In conclusion I believe that cellphones do more bad than good, they are a helpful device but in today's society they cause to much distraction.
